The Redemption Paws Hope Fund was set up to help with the costs of taking in dogs with extra medical costs. No dog that comes to us is hopeless!
Redemptions Paws (RP) is a Canadian registered not-for-profit that dives headfirst into areas affected by disaster situations for the sole purpose of assisting at-risk dogs - affected by natural disasters - find homes.
Since being founded in September of 2017 - post-Hurricane Harvey - Redemption Paws has helped rescue and re-home approximately 145 dogs.
And it doesn't stop there. Did you know that in Houston alone, there are approximately over one million stray dogs?

So Redemption Paws, what are you asking for?
As you can imagine, rescuing dogs is no easy task. But it is rewarding. We rely heavily on our volunteers and our Redemption Paws supporters to continue giving these incredible dogs a second chance at life.
And as you can also imagine, not all these dogs come to us in perfect, grade A health. Medical issues vary and medical bills pile up.
Some of the special needs of our dogs include:
- vision and/or hearing impairment
- skin and ear infections
- parasites
- genetic disabilities
- dental care
- behavioral issues
- amputations and eye removals
- heartworm treatment
- kidney disease
I want to help, where will my money go?
If you've ever had a pet, you know the many costs that go into keeping your fur babies fed, clean and healthy. All the money donated will go directly to vet bills to ensure that these rescue pups are their best selves to prepare them for a life full of complete bliss and love.
We appreciate every single one of you that continues to support us in all ways and wouldn't be where we are today without you!
