RODRIGUEZ MARKET RACIAL FIRE

As reported on NH1  and heard on 610 AM, our local convenience store was broken into, vandalized and set on fire. As a close friend of the owners of the shop, I knew I had to do something- so I created this GoFundMe campaign.

If you live on the West side of Mancheser you have most likely been to Rodriguez Market and Restaurant, an authentic neighborhood one stop shop. I am so proud of my friend and his sister for creating this shop that we all love so much.
With the aim of creating a family oriented oasis, a brother and sister opened the shop about 2-3 years ago - transforming the once seedy store into a welcoming place. To us in the area, it became our Cheers - everyone knew your name and it was great.  Proving that profit was not their only motive, last year they teamed up with another local store to provide Thanksgiving dinner to those who could not afford it. They frequently talked the kids in the neighborhood about school, home life and things to help keep them on the right path - they were always giving back to the community that they love. 

On Monday, February 6th, all that our friends had worked for was taken from them. Hateful, depraved people robbed, torched and defaced the Rodriguez Market and Restaurant. Years of love and hard work have been reduced to a pile of rubble, leaving a family on the brink of financial ruin.

We must not let hatred win. We have the opportunity to turn a devastating loss into something positive. We have the chance to help those who have helped, and would help us.

Please give what you can so that these incredible people can feel the love of a community rather than the hate of the intolerant few.
