RAF Fundraiser for Jessica Venditto

Jessica is a 23 year old, West Hempstead resident, who was born with a very rare heart disease.  Jessica has had five open heart surgeries; one resultng in a punctured lung.  Now, in additon to her heart problem and only having one lung, she has recently been diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver.  Doctors told Jessica that she needs both a heart and liver transplant.  They are both very risky surgeries and it was very difcult to fnd a hospital willing to do it. Thankfully they found a hospital in Chicago.  Jessica is currently in Chicago with her mom waitng for a new heart, while her dad and sisters are home here in New York.  Due to changes made by the heart transplant board, Jessica recently had to leave the hospital and get an apartment.  The board will no longer allow her to wait in the hospital for her new heart.  This is a huge extra expense for the family on top of many medical bills.    Through it all, Jessica always has a smile on her face.  She has such a positve attude on life and she touches everyone she meets.   Her daily saying is “Every Day is a Great Day!”  Please consider donating to help this amazing family and make it a great holiday season for them!

 All donations received will go towards supporting Jessica as she awaits her new heart.   *One raffle ticket will be included with your donation.   You have a chance to win a bootcamp package (12 classes—$100 value)* There will be raffles the day of the event from local businesses and restaurants.  $5 a ticket or $10 for 3 tickets.
