Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria just days after Hurrican Irma.
I've created this fund to help my family rebuild their life on the island. They will be out of work for months, It's an emotional time for them but anything will help.
Please don't forget about all the people in Puerto Rico they need are help rebuilding and surving the aftermath of this terrible hurricane.

1st we would like to thank everyone who Donated, and who shipped Emergency items directly from Amazon.com!!!
When our daughter's started this campaign for us 30 day ago, our intentions like the more than 59,000 people that have left the island already was to pack up and head for the states. But we couldn't just up and leave our 2 dogs Max & River (Pic) which are like our children because of the Pet Embargo that was in place at the time by the airlines. (This has been lifted now) We are still without any Power since Irma before Maria hit. There are still long lines for many things, but thank God the water has been restored as of last week.
During this time our perspective of the crisis and our desire to leave has changed. We've decided to stay and help with the recovery effort and those Less Fortunate than us.
I want to take a min. to Honor the hard work of others:
Ricardo Velez of Humacao, PR. has made several trips to Santo Domingo, DR to bring the much needed Portable Inverter Generators to Puerto Rico.
Nitza Delgago of Rio Grande, PR working with the Animal Rescue has been gracious enough to keep us up to date and informed regarding the Pet Embargo and Pet Safe Travel.
Melvin with the Luquillo Mayor's Office for being transparent with information and helping to get the FEMA paperwork filed.
Rita Herrera without a doubt has been the hero of our group. In addition to cooking and preparing ALL of the Hot and Cold Meals for family, friends, neighbor's, she has personally donated Ice, Coolers, Cases of Water, Flash Lights with batteries.
We would like you to see that your Money is going towards Food, Water, Medical Supplies, etc. (Pic) But we are also still in crisis mode and still need things like:
