Family Emergency

Donation protected
Update: 8/1/17. Im drowning right now, my family and I were going to go into town last night to pick up a few groceries and we got in my car and it wouldn't start. After 2 hours trying to figure it out, we figured out it is my fuel pump. Of course I drive on low fuel a lot bc of limited income, and this is probably why it went out. Needless to say the cost of a fuel pump is $220 at the cheapest and labor is around 400. I've got about $100 after my mom called the propane company again today and Spoke with the owner and explained the situation. They are doing our propane for $356 so that leaves me with the $100 left from the donations so far. I need my car to get to work or we're not able to pay any bills and I've been at my job for almost 3 years, I don't want to lose it. I've raised my goal to $800, although it should be more but I'll start with that.  I'm for a few days to figure this out but I work all next week so I hope I can get enough to get my car back on the road.  I want to thank all of you who already helped, it made a huge difference. But as my mom always says, trouble comes in threes. And this is the third hurdle.

My family needs propane for our house. My family and I are struggling to make ends meet as my mom is unable to work due to many health issues and my sister is looking for a job. I work to pay the utilities  and my mom pays the rent with her SSDI check with no money leftover. We are now down to 3% in our propane tank and need it for hot water. I've taken cold showers before when we've struggled and boiled water for washing dishes, but I work at a nursing home and need to be clean everyday for work and there is no way my mom could take cold showers, it would make her hurt worse and she can't take baths because of not being able to get up out of the tub. There is no help from Energy assistance programs until November due to funding and the propane company will not help, their minimum fill is 200 gallons, which with the cost being around $1.70, it is too much for us to be able to pay, as we have to keep up with our other utilities so we don't get disconnected. Unfortunately you have to pay in one lump payment.  We have nothing we can cut down on, we don't even have cable, so there is no way we can find $450 to get propane and we need it before it runs completely out and leaks into the house. Any little bit that people can give makes a huge difference to my family. If someone even wanted to pay the amount needed, that is also doable as I could give the info for paying it.
