International educational travel experiences open minds to a whole new world. From experiencing another culture first hand, one begins to see life through a new lens; a lens that is more curious, inquisitive, insightful, open-minded, and sensitive to diversity and differences. Students who have these experiences become life-long learners and compassionate global citizens. Our children deserve these opportunities!
My name is Rebecca Petrini and I am a teacher that would love to provide this opportunity for as many students as possible. Due to financial restrictions, however, educational travel is not a possibility for the great majority of students.
I had a vision that through working together raising funds and soliciting the help from our giving community that we could make this dream a reality. We are calling it "PROJECT EXPAND YOUNG MINDS" and we are asking for your help to make this dream come true!
We are starting with these 20 students from the Mid Valley School District in Throop, PA and a mission to get to Spain in June of 2018.

These kids have been doing everything from selling baked goods, chocolate and hoagies to painting faces, calling bingo and washing cars to raise this money! With so many student involved, the funds dispersed from our events have yet to make a huge dent in their cost. So we are reaching out to you! Please help make this dream come true by donating $5.00 and finding someone else to donate $5.00 and keep the chain going!
This $20,000 will reduce the trip for each student by $1000, which is an enormous help!!
