Project Echo - Operating Space

Donation protected
Project Echo’s goal is to improve the lives of people in our community and make a difference for those who experience poverty every day.

Right now, our ability to make a difference in our city and province is being threatened by not having any operating space.

Project Echo’s goal is to improve the lives of people in our community and make a difference for those who experience poverty every day.

As we grow and are adding new initiatives to help even more people in our community, having a permanent operating space will allow us to work on Building a Better Winnipeg.

In the past, Project Echo had access to some wonderful operating space that was donated to us. Circumstances have changed and we no longer have access to it.

Permanent operating space would mean more volunteers could get involved and we could work with even more agencies in our community to help people in need.

This photo shows some of the people that receive the new clothing donations through Project Echo's Feed the Need initiative.

Volunteers come in to sort the clothing and it's then distributed to agencies all over Winnipeg like Lighthouse Mission, New Directions, and Wolseley Family Centre.

A Message about Project Echo's Feed the Need Initiative from a Resource Centre in Downtown Winnipeg

The clothing donated to our program for our participants will help these people who cannot even afford the basic requirements of daily living such as clothing.

People living in poverty do not have enough clothing, food, education and healthcare. This means they are deprived economically, politically and socially.

They hardly get opportunities,  and they have inadequate nutrition, higher risk of disease and lack of access to life essentials which results in low achievement.

Thank you to Project Echo for providing them with this opportunity that they would never have received from anywhere else.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. We just cannot thank you enough!
