DNA Project - "Pressing My Way"

I'm Tierra Kellow, a genealogist currently working towards certification. My story started on one piece of notebook paper after the passing of my 103 year old great grandmother. I realized that I needed to grab my LIVING history while I could and the best way to do that to is to meet them and gain something that only they could give me. Knowledge and more importantly DNA.

This go fund me will assist me in traveling to various family members around the United States and testing their DNA via Ancestry.com's DNA testing. Each test costs $99 plus tax and with your help I'll be able meet and hopefully surpass the goal of 15 family members. 

The older the DNA the further the lineage can reach to continue to connect my family through its hidden roots. 
I don't have a deadline but the sooner I can get these DNA tests administered the better because to be honest tomorrow is not promised. Currently I am fortuante to still have a great older lineage of untapped information at my disposal; A great aunt (104), a distant cousin (94), a distant cousin (92), and two grandmothers.

I have already tested myself along with my my mother, grandmother, grandfather, uncles, and great gradmother. I currently spend all of my free time researching, taking road trips, and documenting my findings via my website www.pressingmyway.wordpress.com. This is also where the updates of this project will be posted. I've put countless hours along with blood, sweat, and tears into this project and I need help to continue; not just for my sake but for that of my children and future grandchildren.
