She was just 10 years old when she was told she needed brain surgery to remove a golf ball size tumor from her head. 
Over the past 5 years, Kayla has been through multiple surgeries at Cleveland Clinic Hospital and St. Jude's Childrens Hospital down in Memphis.  Kayla has been through Chemo, Radiation, feeding tubes, and multiple treatments, but through it all, she has remained positive from all the love and support she has receieved from family, friends and the community. 
This year, the tumors have returned and are accompanied by necrosis  of the brain stem, shoulders, hips and knees.  This has caused immense pain for Kayla.  More than her little body can handle.  Between the tumors and the necrosis, and symptoms only getting worse, the decision has been made to stop all treatments to fight the cancer and focus on getting rid of the pain.  
Kayla is preparing for another surgery, October 25, 2017 to try and resolve some of the necrosis pain in her lower extremeties.  After the surgery, the family will continue to work with Hospice and focus on pain management for Kayla and make sure she is happy and comfortable.   
Often at times like these, people feel helpless and don't know how to help.   There has been a lot of stress regarding funds, since Jen Radicella (her mother) and Bobby Hoover (her father) have not been able to work.  We did have a funderaiser last year, but it only goes so far with medical bills, utility, and every day expenses for a family. Please help us, as we pull together one more time, and help this family through this difficult  chapter of their life.
