Friends and family of the Lempe family are graciously asking for contributions towards the funeral and burial expenses for Fred Lempe's son, 24-year-old Freddie Lempe.

March 6, 2011, 17-year-old Freddie Lempe was in a near-fatal car accident. Freddie was a passenger involved in a teen driver weather-related accident in Johnston County. Freddie was thrown out of the vehicle and suffered a severe spinal and traumatic brain injury. Freddie had lung surgery and endless respiratory complications due to a lung disease.

Freddie remained in the hospital for 7 plus years till he passed on June 30th, 2018 due to respiratory complications which lead to heart failure.
