Berena Ahumada, her husband and 5 year old son, who live here on the coast, needs your help. The plight of the family was brought to my attention by a mutual friend and I decided I would like to help them.
On the night of Wednesday, February 8th, the small house the family was renting was hit by a falling cypress tree, crushing half the bedroom. Thankfully they escaped with only bruises and scratches, but the house is no longer livable. Rain and mud destroyed most of their belongings.
They are currently living in a pop-up camper tent and need our help to find better housing and replace their lost belongings. Coastside Hope case manager Ali Neira is in daily contact with the family and is working to help them find housing and access any other aid available.
Money donated will be used to help them find and move into new housing and to replace their lost possessions. PLEASE HELP!
