Desperate Mother/Grandmother

My name is Julie Bradbury, I am 52 years old and I am a desperate Mother and Grandmother. While I am employed, due to my husband getting ill and not being able to continue teaching; money is tight.
Here is the story of why I am desperate.
Earlier this evening my daughter Brandie, her husband Jake and my granddaughter, Temperence were hit head on by a woman who was drunk and high. While Jake and Temperence are ok, thank God, unfortunately my daughter is going into surgery at 730am as she has a broken femur.
This little family is such a joy for both sides of the families. Jake has been in the United States Air Force for about 10 years and has done a phenomenal job taking care of Brandie and Temperence. Brandie has worked outside the home as a Vet Tech and taken super care of Jake. After about 7-8 years of marriage, they both decided to have a baby. Sadly, after a tragic miscarriage at 5 months, things looked bleak for these two amazing people. Then a miracle happened! Brandie was pregnant with Temperence at age 28. Being the responsible people they are, they both felt it was best that Brandie stay home and be a Mom to our little angel, Temperence.
Jake was stationed at New Jersey last year after being at Anchorage for almost 4 years. They bought a home and have tried to settle in the best they could. Being out east was a huge culture shock for them to say the least.
Tonight after Jake got off work, they needed to go and get some groceries. Where they live, everything is about 30-45 minutes away. Then, tragedy struck! They were hit head on by an idiot who decided to get behind the wheel while she was drunk and high.
My daughter is going to have surgery to repair the broken femur bone in the morning at 730am and I would really love to go and be there with her. Unfortunately, I am not able to get enough money together to fly there and help out in the following week(s) after the surgery. As you know, 2 year olds are a handful and while Jake is an amazing Dad and Husband, he needs the help as well while Brandie is down.
My kids have always meant the world to me and if it were possible, I would take Brandie's place in a heartbeat! The money raised would buy a round trip ticket from Denver to New Jersey, rent a car (a little expensive) to get to the house and to use, since their vehicle is totaled; and to buy groceries and other items they might need while I am there and when I leave (home made nightly dinners).
This would mean the world to me and to my amazing little family in New Jersey if I could raise the money as soon as possible and get there quickly. I would be forever in each and every donor's debt for their generosity and I would pray each night that God would pour out his blessings accordingly.
