Pennie's cancer journey

Hello everyone and thank you for considering helping! Any amount is helpful!!

My name is Pennie Stavast and I'm a 55 year old mother of 4 and Oma (grandma) of 8!

This is my 3rd battle with cancer over 30 years! This journey began last July with a Breast Cancer Stage 2 diagnoses. After a double mastectomy it was "up graded" to stage 3. After several set backs (major infection in the cancer side breast and removal of the expander, left open to heal) and complications (slow healing of open wound and were I had to have major dental work before chemo in hopes it would heal ok, also had reactions to chemo so they had to infuse at a slower rate, twice as long) my journey is far from over has I  have to do radiation yet and then reconstruction in about a year after that!! So this journey will continue for at least another two years!!

All this plus my mother has had her own battle from a fall that broke her femur two weeks before my DM. October of last year. She still can't walk or even stand from a lack of care in the 2  "rehab" hospitals she was in! One almost killed her and the other did very little to get her back on her feet. I was her care giver and now my daughter is plus mine and her 20 month old son!. Shalise has put her families lives on hold to help! Sooooooo....

Our savings is gone, the credit cards are maxed and Clay has hardly worked taking me to and fro. Sometimes daily to UCSD, a 140 +  miles round trip! We have a lot more to go.

Moms care is depleting funds fast also! Any amount would help! Prayers are greatly welcomed!
