PEI Youth Hockey Fundraiser

My name is Ethan Malcom and I'm from Sherwood, PEI. I'm currently a grade 12 student studying at a private boarding school in the USA by the name of Mercersburg Academy. In my 12th grade year I'm a part of a capstone project class called the Business of Sport. In this class we look at the business side of sports and then create a senior project on the topic of our choosing. For my project I'm looking at how the increasing price of minor hockey in Canada is keeping a lot of kids from being able to play. I chose to do this project because I was someone who struggled to pay the fees associated with hockey and I want give back and help other kids in our community. Part of my project is to develop an action plan that will help kids who can't financially afford hockey. My goal and idea was to raise $500 through this Gofundme page and also through various donation boxes that I created. Thank you for your support.
