Paws4Love Canine Rescue & Foster
Donation protected
Dogs have brought me so much joy thoughout my life. We currently have 3 dogs, all rescues. Sophie, a boxer, Livi, a Lab- Border Collie, and Uno, a Blue Pit.

In 2016 we lost my beloved Ozzy, a 12 yr old boxer. After losing Babie , our little 14 year old mutt in 2013, I wanted to do something to honor her memory. Long story short, I joined the board for our local animal shelter , became the fundraiser coordinator, and I soon started fostering. It was so hard to let them go at first, but I knew by fostering I was giving them a chance to get out the shelter and live a normal life until going to their forever homes. I lost count, but I've fostered at least 100 dogs now.
Our county shelter is very small, and runs on an even smaller budget, but we make it work the best we can with small donations, fundraisers, and many times the volunteers buy what is needed.
We have very few people who Foster, so that means 4-5 of us fostering 10-30 dogs sometimes. I have also rescued several strays and dogs that were dumped on our property. I have only 2 kennels, so I'm limited on the number of dogs I can take in.
My husband and I would love to build a small sanctuary for these sweet babies, with a separate kennel area for quarantine in case parvo is suspected.
As usual, money is an issue. Any money donated would go strictly toward rescue/Foster expenses such as building materials, kennels, food, toys, etc. Every donation whether $5 or $500 would be greatly appreciated and put to good use. The money will also help our local shelter animals with unforeseen expenses such as heart worm treatments, supplies & rescue transport costs that the county doesn't cover in the shelter's budget.
They say everyone has a purpose. Saving an animal's life is my purpose.
I am their voice, and won't let them down.
Thank you and God bless.
