Patrick: beating his angiofibroma
Donation protected
On September 7, 2012 my 14 year old son had a nose bleed:.then another, and another. We expected it would be nothing serious. However, the tests revealed he had a rare aggressive vascular tumor the size of a golf ball in his left nasal cavity at the base of his brain, called a Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma. The physicians felt it was very serious and they operated on October 5, 2012. The surgery went wonderfully but left us with over $132,000 in medical bills. yikes! Then, to make matters worse, we went for a follow-up appointment on Thursday March 7, 2013 and they found another growth. This time a small one they were able to remove in the surgeon's office, thankfully! Patrick will continue with follow-up visits and CT scans to make sure the tumor doesn't grow back. He is so strong! We are so grateful for anything you can do to help us.
Thanks so much for giving of yourself. God Bless!!!
