Brandon Alexander Foundation

Details:
The Brandon Alexander Foundation was created in honor of Brandon Alexander
Gomez, a child who was known for his charisma, gratitude, generosity, and love towards others.
Brandon tragically passed in a motorized vehicle accident at his young age. Similarly to
Brandon and his family, many other families have experienced similar events at some point in
their lives. Therefore, the Brandon Alexander Foundation aims to help, engage, and provide
mentorship to children who are parentless and may also target parents who lost their
child(ren). This includes, but is not limited to, foster children, orphaned children, and/or any
other children who are parentless or not cared by parent surrogates.

Purpose: The Brandon Alexander Foundation’s purpose is to engage, interact, and provide
mentorship to parentless children and may also involve parents who lost their child(ren). As
research demonstrates, many parentless children may develop pseudo-orphan syndrome due
to them not having one or both parents. In some cases, the children may experience
deprivation of social life, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and/or sleeping and eating
disorders. In order to assist and promote the well-being of our children, the Brandon Alexander
Foundation will conduct monthly exercise, activities, and events that will focus on sharing,
mentoring, bonding, and care. Our final goal is for all the children involved in our organization
to establish a positive and lifelong relationship with one another.

Mission: We are dedicated to help parentless children in need and improve their well-being.

Vision: We aim to have a positive impact in the lives of parentless children.

Programs: Play, Laugh, and Live Like Brandon Initiative

This initiative will consist of weekend gatherings, mainly on Saturdays, where parentless
children are able to share with other children and adults. These gatherings may take place in
communal places such as parks and/or recreational areas and may also take place in closed
localities such as movie theaters, museums, etc. Activities will be held at these events and at
times, guest speakers will deliver messages to our attendants. Similarly to what Brandon
Alexander enjoyed, children will have the opportunity to share, play, and interact with others
during the weekends.
