Gonzalez Family Support Fund

My name is Erica Moore and I am raising money for my dear friend, Prisciliano Gonzalez. We've known each other for 7 years--our friendship began when we worked together at a local hardware store. We refer to one another as 'my brother' or 'my sister'. P was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer and has begun aggressive treatment that will include 2 periods of chemo bookending a surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible. He faces grim odds, even with treatment, but his spirit is relentless and his stoicism is impressive. He has a wonderful family- his wife, Liliana, and their 4 children are a loving support system for him.  But they need our help-- P is on leave from work and currently has no income, they face very expensive medical bills and fees for treatment on top of regular day to day bills like rent, utilities and groceries. Liliana will be spending much of her time caring for him and transporting him back and forth to his constant appointments, rather than working. Best case scenario is that P will be recuperating and healing from the treatments and be back to work by this time next year. I'm trying to raise 2 year's salary- one to live on and the other for additonal medical expenses. The emotional stress of going through a sickness like this is obvious. Unfortunately, many of us have witnessed it first hand with our own loved ones and/or friends. Please help in whatever way you can to minimize the financial burden this family faces so they can spend their efforts to fight for Prisciliano's life. This is a great opportunity to pay a kindness forward, I know that the entire Gonzalez family will do the same, when given the opportunity.
