Delta 184th Memorial Day Reunion

Every year the army wives put together a Memorial Day event for our combat soldiers of the Delta Demon 1-184th OIF to get together and mourn the loss of their fallen brothers.  They lost five men during their tour in Iraq, and several since then to suicide and accidents.  With the rate of veteran suicide climbing daily, I feel this this time together is even more important!!  This started small and has grown to be more than I can host at my home.  It has been 10 years since their deployment and our goal is to get as many of our soldiers to this event.  Some now live out of state and have to travel quite a bit, and I would hate money to be the reason they can't attend.  This time is so crucial for our men!  They get together and tell stories and are able to lean on one another.... Their brothers that were there fighting right beside them!  The bond is so great, that as a wife, I just sit back in awe.  There is a smile on everyone of their faces, even through the tears, because they don't feel alone when they are together!  Please help in making this a memorable event for all of them.  I believe they deserve it!
