We are SO excited to share the news that our beloved gentle giant, Oscar, has the opportunity to finally be re-homed in (cold) Canada!!

Oscar came to ARC nearly 10 months ago. He was so skinny and suffering from a very severe skin condition due to Vietnam’s tropical heat and humidity. After many months of diligent care from our team of volunteers and his wonderful fosters, Oscar’s skin has improved greatly, and he’s a much happier and healthier dog these days.

Despite these improvements, Oscar still struggles to cope with the heat of Vietnam. He needs a lot of AC and can only spend a limited amount of time outdoors. His thick double coat was made for cold weather! It has long been our dream to send Oscar abroad so that he can live his life to the fullest in a colder climate.

*OSCAR’S ADOPTION & TRANSPORT*

We have connected with a visiting gentleman who lives in Canada’s Northern Rockies, and he’d love chance to bring Oscar back home with him in early January!

This is an awesome opportunity and A.R.C. is going to do everything we can to make this happen but we need your help!

Transport is not easy, due to his size, but Oscar can be sent via Lufthansa through Germany and then to his new home of Canada, and the cost is $5,000 USD.

With your help, Oscar will be on his way to Canada in January and living his best life in 2018!!
