Wigs for Kids processing costs.

I started growing my hair out in October 2015, with full commitment to donating it.  I wanted to donate specifically to an organization that makes wigs for children.  Plain and simple, I feel like being a kid fighting a serious disease/illness  is one of the saddest scenarios anyone has to deal with.  They were dealt a terrible hand, they just need all the help they can get.
Wigs for kids is a non profit organization founded in 1981 by Certified Cosmetic Therapist, Jeffrey Paul.
So basically, for every 10-12 hair donations (ponytails 10 or more inches), 1 wig is made.  And for every wig, there is an estimated $1,800 processing fee.  The financial donations is in no way a  requirement, and theres no real guarantee that the money will go to making the wig with my specific hair.  But this is just a great organization that needs to be supported.  Im not working directly with WigsForKids but GoFundMe has an option for the proceeds to go directly to the organization so theres no third party involvement.  Im cutting my hair on July 1st 2018, but I'll keep the GoFundMe account open as long as the donations are coming in.
