OLA Jog-a-thon 2019 Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Benefactors. It is always an endeavor so edifying and humbling to ask for your support; edifying because of the example of your generosity which is proven time and time again and humbling because we feel our need and dependence on others. Nevertheless, this is itself a lesson for us and the children because, in knowing that we need others and we need your help, we will also be grateful for all the help we receive and will express that gratitude in deeds. And so, we will be inspired, inspirited, energized and downright pumped up to jog with all of our might; a sign of our heart and our gratitude for your most needed support and our commitment to Catholic education. We then, with much confidence, ask that you would support our undaunted labor of solid, Catholic education by donating to our jog-a-thon!
Our Jog-a-thon on Saturday, January 26th, 2019, is our biggest fundraiser of the year and thus one that we greatly depend on. We have one hour to run, jog or walk around a 1/5 mile track as many times as possible. When donating, please include a message specifying which runner should receive credit for the donation. Thank you for your continued commitment to education.
Our Lady of the Angels Academy is a traditional Catholic school under the direction of the priests of the Society of St. Pius X. We are committed to providing children with a safe, healthy environment in which they can learn and develop into the strong Catholic citizens and leaders of tomorrow. Set in the picturesque San Gabriel Valley with the San Gabriel Mountains as its backdrop, Our Lady of the Angels Academy is a reminder to all with eyes to see that in spite of all the noise, traffic and worldliness that a city environment brings, the Catholic Church has the promise of God to continue through it all. Our parents and teachers have not wavered in their commitment to educate their children whatever the price, whatever the sacrifice. Our little academy is noteworthy for its excellent music, language arts, and religion programs; and we are delighted to see so many of its 8th Grade graduates be accepted and thrive in schools known for their high-level studies, such as Notre Dame de La Salette Academy, St. Dominic's School and Our Lady of Sorrows Academy.
