Operation Give to Our Youth

Right now our communities have more than 30 million students enrolled in the countries free and reduced meal programs. With the reduction in force and unemployment, many parents struggle to provide basic school supplies their children. Back in 2012, I decided it was time to do my part and my family and initiated the "Operation Give To Our Youth" drive. Our first drive we personally donated over $300 and raised $1500. FY15-16 we received approximately $1k in donations and raised $1500 in funds. This year our goal ---> $3k in donated supplies and donations.
Family and friends, first and foremost thank you all. Your contributions for the 2015-2016 school year directly assisted us with paying it forward, providing the Fort Hood, Killeen, Copperas Cove, and Kempner areas with desperately needed school supplies and uniforms for low-income families.
Those willing, we are collecting school supplies, uniforms, shoes, backpacks and accepting monetary donations for the 2016-2017 school year. Every little bit aids us in providing resources to families who would otherwise struggle.

This amazing organization has committed that for every backpack purchased through their site, they'll donate a backpack plus supplies (so if we purchase 20 backpacks, Sydney will donate 20 each backpack full of supplies)!!!!
