Noahs Handicap Van Fund Raiser

My name is Christine Gorman and I am Noah’s mother and primary caregiver. Noah is in desperate need for a handicap accessible van. Noah needs a handicap van to safely transport him to his many appointments, the hospital, and to Meeting Street School.  Noah is thirteen years old and weighs 123lbs. 

Any financial help would be greatly appreciated to purchase a handicap van for Noah. Noah is incontinent,is fed via G-tube, unable to dress himself, uses a wheelchair and is unable to speak. 

His primary diagnosis is Hypoxic/Ischemia Encephalopathy resulting in Cerebral Palsy and Low tone, History of Pneumonia and Aspiration Pneumonia. He has a long history of Epilepsy with a diagnosis of Infantile Spasms Seizures and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. Noah also has a Vegus Nerve Stimulator which is a pacemaker for his brain.  Sadly, I have not been able to get the seizures under control and continue on the path to find relief for him. We were informed at his last hospital stay that Noah has Chronic Lung Disease.  Every cold and illness slowly damages his lungs. It is a long journey of health struggles and heartache. 

My husband James and I have struggled financially since the birth of our son.  My husband is the sole provider of income for our family since I am full time care giver for our son Noah.

Noah’s medical expenses have put an extra strain on our finances.  He requires special clothing, equipment, diapers and special transportation.  We have a very limited budget and most of our income is used to help our son Noah.
