Lil Noah and the Flood

The little boy in the photo above is my nephew Noah. He was forced to evacuate his home on the day of his first birthday party due to the flooding in southern Louisiana. The attached video was taken by my sister from the boat that rescued them. Their story is not an isolated incident. There are numerous families in need of food, shelter, and other necessities. My local church, Capital Missionary Baptist Church, has been working around the clock to meet the needs of these families. However, they need help. Please consider donating to this cause. I can assure you that every penny will go directly to the families in need. I'm starting the donations off with $500 of my own money and will undoubetdly be adding more in the coming days.
