No Justice No Peace for Juan May Fund

$1,000 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 15 people in 53 months
On June 22, 2014, Juan May was murdered by an off-duty Arlington Police Officer after a birthday celebration where both were guests on a party bus.  Juan leaves behind a son, two daughters, his parents, and one sister.  He gave freely and cheerfully, and we pray that the love and blessings he generously gave to others will be reciprocated here to ensure he and his children have the best counseling and representation possible.  Thank you in advance; may God bless you for your donation no matter the size.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers and support. Our 12 donors have really shown how willing they are to be more than just a voice. I ask that God bless them AND those who are not able to donate with bountiful blessings in the times to come.

We have a meeting with the criminal investigators Wednesday morning. Please PRAY, PRAY, PRAY that God watch over us all and that the TRUTH prevails so justice can be served and the man responsible for our loss can be held accountable for his actions.

On behalf of my mom, my dad, my husband, and my brother's children, I wanna say thanks in advance for joining us in that prayer, and for your continued financial support. God bless you!

I'm very thankful to Chief Ayala and the rest of the Arlington Police Department administration for listening to our concerns and considering my heartfelt request that the man who shot and killed Juan, Thedrick Andres, not return to duty with his weapon. They have reconsidered and decided not to give back his firearm at this time; at least until the investigation is further along and they can make a more informed decision. I can't express my gratitude to everyone for their prayers that they make the right decision, because our collective prayers have been answered. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

I regret to inform you all that Juan's killer will return to work on Monday, with his firearm. We have begged upon the mercy of the Arlington Police Department, urging them to reconsider placing a weapon back into the hands that of the man, Thedrick Andres, that murdered my brother. We truly appreciate Chief Ayala and Lt. Cook taking the time out to sit down with us and answer the many unanswered questions we had. We believe they are genuinely concerned about public opinion and the emotions of our family. We also believe that if they represent the true integrity of the Arlington Police Department, they will strongly reconsider and do what is right by not placing a weapon back into the hands of Thedrick Andres - the man who murdered Juan May. If the decision is made to allow him to have a firearm, we will need your support now more than ever; not only by donating but by sharing this campaign, and being present for rallies, marches, viduals, and every other peaceful advocacy we can partake in. I am no longer seeking cash donations for Juan' s burial or anything his children need; however, if you would like to make an in-kind donation towards the civil side of this fight and my #HaveTheConversation campaign, I greatly appreciate you. Much love, and gratitude to you all. Remember, #BlackLivesMatter - Jindia
