"First off, this is a celebration event for Nicci Nyxi Stix being born, which is an excellent thing to celebrate. There is more to it though.This is a shout out to any and all that would be willing to help out a working artist, that just recently came upon some serious misfortune. On the first of this month, me and this lovely lady were out in Detroit enjoying a brilliant concert and a Masquerade art gallery. With the intent of heading to a photo shoot shortly after our trip, she left her photography gear in the car. When we returned to her car, we found a smashed window and her purse along with about $2000 worth of photography equipment gone along with a good amount of sentimental photo files. These types of things happen all the time I know (Lesson learned), but im only bringing it up and asking for help because we cant afford the replacement, that was her only camera, and she used it for 3 different jobs. Not to mention photography is her passion, and without this tool she doesn't have what she needs to pursue her dreams. If anyone knows her well and has seen her work, you know she has progressed in a fantastic way over the last few years and aspires to be serious independent artist. If any of you can empathize or sympathize with this woman, please come and show your support. Nicci didn't want me to do this but she could really use a helping hand from anyone out there. Any bit of financial support is appreciated to no end, but more so just coming out to have a good time, have some drinks, watch some football, enjoy half priced pizza, and mingle with some new people. Beyond that, this is an invite to any musicians that are interested in a day/night of open mic, jamming, and collaborative musical love making. We have booked the entire bar for basically the whole day but we are thinking 5-12, so come by whenever you can. We may be selling some prints of Nicci's for cheap, raffling some things off for fun and minimal profit, and even scheduling future professional photo shoots at a discounted price. We will be jamming all day so come out and enjoy yourself. Please spread the word!!! Thanks!! Invite any and all."

Most of my friends know that I am pretty stubborn, and though I love to help others, don't like asking for or accepting help unless I seriously need to. This is one of those times...
All of our resources are exhausted at this point, and I was relying on my camera equipment for the majority of my income. We were out in Detroit as an early birthday celebration, which took a lot of arranging to even be able to get off work for once to get away. So all of the sob story aside,even if you can't help, I would really love nothing more than to see all of your faces for my birthday, if you could please come out! I have endless hugs for each one of you. Did I mention this is an OPEN JAM?! First come, first sign up. We have the whole stage, come light it up!"
