New Life Transitions provides support and transitional services to homeless individuals who wish to make a fresh start.
Recently we had to reorganize to better serve our clients in McHenry County and Northern Illinois.
Would you be willilng to help us restructure and obtain new documentation and registration to serve individuals like those described below?
One individual was homeless. Each evening he must travel from shelter to shelter in hopes of finding a place to sleep. All of his personal belongings are in storage, and he often has to walk miles from place to place because he has no other transportation. Holding down a regular job is difficult for him because he must attend 5 meetings per week for his probation, and the rest of his time is spent looking for that day's shelter for the night.
Another individual is staying in substandard apartment living. He has license and skills that qualify him for employment, but he has no vehicle to get to employment. He's willing and able to change things around for the better and only needs help from an agency like New Life Transitions of Northern Illinois.
If you could donate $30 a month or a one time donation, you could help us provide these individuals with opportunities and resources to get transporation passes, vocational training, housing, and other life services.
With your donations, you and others will be helping us to restructure and provide a second chance in life for many individuals and help them transition into a new life that benefits society.
