Nevaeh's Gymnastics Journey!

As many of you know, Nevaeh is becoming quite the gymnast!

After six months of recreational classes at her current gym, she quickly began showing the love, dedication and determination necessary for excellence in the sport, and was promoted to the competition team with girls who have been members for years.

This summer was INTENSE with midday training sessions including extensive conditioning for a total of 12 hours each week. It was a major commitment for our family (Mom leaving work several times a week at lunch for drop offs and hiring a babysitter for pick ups!!) but Nevaeh’s skills improved by leaps and bounds (pun intended J). She has forged amazing relationships with her teammates, found a passion that has not wavered, and developed lasting bonds with her coaches.

In preparation for the upcoming 2014-2015 competition season, Nevaeh currently practices 10 hours a week at Midstate Gymnastics in Springfield, IL. In addition to that she is still a STAR second grade student at her gifted and International Bacccalaureate elementary school, a stellar violinist, and just an all around sweet and caring 6 year old angel.

Participation in competitive gymnastics requires significant financial commitment. This page is dedicated to help raise funds for Nevaeh’s 2014-2015 Region 5 – Level 3 Competitive Season. Monies raised through Nevaeh’s GoFundMe campaign will help cover the cost of USAG-Sanctioned Competition Fees which include associated Coach Travel Fees. Apart from tuition, the toal fees for the season have been calculated (see below) as $1645. This figure DOES NOT include monthly tuition, hotel, food, and travel costs which will be a great expense as well.

We have always had the most amazing Village—your love and support through the years have made all of her successes possible. We are praying that you will continue that trend and support her dreams of gymnastics excellence!
