In August 2017, Refuge RR were able to rescue 50+ rabbits from a hoarder/backyard breeder selling them for pets, meat and breeding. The rabbits included three litters of newborns which, in addition with some others, have been in foster. Their hasn't been a big success in finding homes for these rabbits and other rescues are completely full. There has been a large area cleared at Refuge RR where we can now build a large enclosure for all the females (approx. 25) to live cage free! There are only a small handful of males will continue to be for adoption and stay with their current foster. Your contribution will pay for fencing, poles, building material and shelters as well as the rental of the backhoe. En août 2017, le Refuge RR a été capable de sauver plus de 50 lapins d'un éleveur illégal qui vendait les lapins comme animaux de compagnie, pour la viande et pour la reproduction. Les lapins incluant 3 portées de nouveaux nés, ont été hébergés mais sans grand succès pour leurs trouver des familles d'adoption et les refuges sont tous complets.
Un grand espace au Refuge RR a été dégagé pour construire un grand enclot pour les femelles ( environ 25 ) qui vivraient en libertés. Les mâles qui sont eux moin nombreux, resteront pour adoption dans leurs familles d'accueil temporaires.
Vos contributions serviront à payer le matériel nécessaire à la construction de l'enclot et à la location d'une excavatrice.
