Caring for Ned & Erin Smith & the Kids

Dear Friends & Loved Ones of Ned, Erin, and the Kids,
We are so grateful for a community both near and far that will help support the Smith family as Ned starts treatment for his recent cancer diagnosis. You can follow his story here:

Many of you have asked how you might help out, especially if you live out of town. We are hiring some help for the family who can help out with the kids, can work flexible hours, who will clean and do laundry and run errands and generally care for the family’s physical needs so that they can concentrate on their emotional and spiritual needs at this time. As a community, we would love to give them the gift of funds to hire someone full time for at least 6 months to help them out, and to use in other ways to help them out during this time.
If you have leads on the perfect person to take on this job, please drop me a line ([email redacted]). Ditto — if you want to be added to the “lotsa helping hands” site that coordinates meals and other ways to help, just drop me a note.
We are in this for the long haul with them! We will keep you posted on other ways to serve. Thank you for your gift to the Smith family.
