Healing the Healer

Over the past 12 years I have seen Natem do so many amazing things. He never tires of helping those who seek him by profoundly impacting our lives through spiritual, psychological, and physical transformation. Once you have met him, he considers you part of his global family and refers to you from then on as his sister or brother.

His global family has benefited much from his efforts such as sharing the wisdom of his ancestors or community projects helping Shuar villages.

This important work must continue.

Natem's spirit never tires but his body does and he is recovering from being hospitalized three times in the past year for pneumonia. His lungs are scarred from having had Tuberculosis in 1968 and are currently working at about 65% capacity. Just as his ancestral homeland, “the lungs of the world”, suffers from contamination, so do his lungs. We have all benefited from his healing words and actions; now is our chance to help him.

How do we help to heal the healer?

Spiritually: All of your prayers have been helping immensely in this time of crisis. It is important for him to know we care and appreciate all that he has done to improve our lives.

Financially: Natem's continued treatment requires the constant use of an oxygen machine, medications, and visits to specialists.
