Natasha's cancer recovery fund

It was always my dream to travel, make art, and find real love. I've been able to do a bit of travelling, and have managed in my way to make art, but have always had to support myself by working odd jobs. In the beginning this meant coping with the extreme challenges of the low-wage workplace. Eventually I settled on nannying as the best solution for me, and have over the years taken care of, played with, loved many many children, I have been welcomed into many lovely families, and this has provided me with a solid foundation from which to be creative, even though it meant alot less time for those projects.

Last year I finally found my true love, Christian, and we shared what we both agree was the best year of our lives.

Then around Christmastime the problems I'd been having in my belly for the past few months became unbearable. I thought I'd eaten something bad, or had a stomach bug, or food allergies, and tried as I have always done when health issues arrive to solve it myself through diet and herbal remedies. When I finally made it to the doctor I learned I had a tumor, and after surgery and a CT scan, that I have ovarian cancer.

Tomorrow morning I will go in for a massive surgery, lots of my parts will be removed, I'll spare you all the details. After a month or so when that's all healed, I'll undergo months of chemotherapy.

All of which means I will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, so I thought selling some of my paintings and jewelry might be a great way to tie me over til I can get back to work.  I am extremely grateful for any help you might be able to offer.

I am as yet unsure whether my flimsy travel insurance will cover the surgery, so I may need to raise the amount at a later date.

We just found out the insurance wont cover either the surgeries or the chemotherapy. So unfortunately that means that I need to ask for a lot more money. You can by sending the link to friends even 5€ or 10€ donations really help. It adds up. Thanks you so much for your support and generosity.
