Student Built Solar Bike Shelter

Bicycle Shelter Project:

Over the recent school year, our team has been working on a new project, designing a bicycle shelter. Our goal for the bicycle shelter is to promote the use of bicycles within the City of Newton and Newton North’s community.

The team has completed initial designs including dimensions of materials needed, as well as a scaled-down prototype. Currently, the team is looking for people and local businesses to help fund the material costs and construction.

This is a long process, and if we cannot meet our funding goal, all donations from this fundraiser will go to helping future greengineers in this program.
