Mural Expressions - Series 1, 2

The ARTners Collaborative (AC) was founded in January 2017, by Artist Markos Egure and Artist Teresa Gutierrez. We are the original two ARTners. What is an ARTner? Well... we two are Art Independent Artists Partners, so we merged our name into ARTners. Markos is a entrepaneuer who has been running his own mural company for the past 20 years, titled Wes Kos Images, located in Sacramento, CA. Teresa is a single Mother of two growing teenage boys, retired State of California worker of 30 years. Both of us are Artists and have operated Art Galleries, over the past years. As we merged together, so have our murals. Markos has painted over 200 murals, signs, creative projects in Sacramento and has mentored Teresa in painting murals and other various creative activities. Teresa was originally a Portrait Artist and has now finished her 12th mural in Sacramento since the two met in 2013. In our latest mural with Wide Open Walls, it was inevitable that our one block long mural was not going to be painted by two. So we recruited 15 additional Artists to paint with us and we all kinda like each other and it's fun to work on projects together. In otherwords we are a "Collaborative" just like the name displayed, and in all actuality this was our mission. We like helping. We like helping artists, we like working together, We like good people. Our program is all about uplifting artist to their ultimate goals in a healthy creative way. Onward to our new mission, we have become fundraisers in a creative way, working with the Mexican American Hall of Fame Sports Association. We will be setting up creative events to raise money, such as Mural Festivals, Art Classes, Craft Classes, Yoga Classes, etc. We will also be contining with our own commissioned art and showing work in various areas. Always supporting Sacramento, other Artists programs, Cultural Creative events, etc. This mission is to give!!
