Mr.Passariello Memorial Scholarship

In memory of my father, the Ramapo Senior High School National Honor Society has created the Joseph Passariello Memorial Scholarship. Joseph was an educator overall for 48 years, of which 27 was devoted to the East Ramapo School District as a Physics and Chemistry teacher. My father loved his career; the bonds and lasting relationships he shared with his students is what all educators strive for. It was not his mission to pass students along; it was his fate to ignite a passion for knowledge and wisdom within his students.

This scholarship will be awarded to a Ramapo High School senior that will be graduating with the class of 2016. The awarded student must be a committed member of the National Honor Society and be an enthusiastic learner exceling in the field of Physics and/or Chemistry.

I am asking for donations for this scholarship that will benefit a Ramapo High School senior and leave a lasting memorial for Joseph at the institution and in the community he loved so dear. I cannot express to you how thankful our family and our extended Ramapo High School family will be for your contribution.
