Sgt Morisot's Memorial Fund
Pierre and his family were on their way to Ontario to go camping when he began to feel very ill. He was taken to hospital in Quebec the next morning where he was later diagnosed with acute leukemia which was complicated by pneumonia. He passed away less than 24 hours later with his daughter, Anastasia and wife, Cindy by his side.
Words can not express how deeply this has impacted everyone who knew him. He was a devoted and loving husband and father, proud and dedicated soldier, beloved son, brother, Uncle, nephew and cousin and an exceptional friend.
He was a talented and skilled Construction Technician and teacher, a great cook, a hard worker and a man with a great sense of humor.
Pierre leaves behind his wife and four beautiful children. Several people have expressed interest in making a donation to help the family during this tragic time so we have established this page to provide that opportunity for those who wish to do so. Thank you so much in advance for your support.
The feeling of love and support was tremendous by people connected by a common love for a man that we will all miss dearly.
Cindy and her family have returned home to New Brunswick - this is a time of tragedy and uncertainty as she begins to think about and plan for a future without her soulmate by her side.
Cindy and her children have been blanketed with love and surrounded by support as can be seen through the many kind and generous donations that have been made to help support the Morisot family On behalf of the family, I would like to thank each one of you.
We will keep the campaign live for approximately one more week for any who haven't yet made a donation but wish to do so. Thank you so very much.
