Dive into a world full of waterfalls, pirate islands, mermaids, fairies, a wizard, a unicorn and of course magic! "Moon Mermaid and the Treasure of Friendship" is a beautiful photo story book about a lonely mermaid that finds a very special treasure map and on her adventure discovers that friendship is the most magical treasure of all!
The book will be 50 pages, 8.5x8.5 inches, paperback, with amazing color photo pages and graphics taken above and underwater and will also be offered on Kindle.
I have collaborated with some very amazing photographers to make the best book possible. Grant Brummett and Neil Johnson have been the lead photographers above and underwater so you know you can expect beautiful high quality magical images!
Your contribution covers travel expenses to our magical locations, photographers and use of underwater equipment, magical "attire", props etc, location expenses, graphic design, editor expenses, filming, production, printing, and shipping within the US.
My goal is to have the book completed and printed in time for our next event where I will be appearing and doing a reading for children on May 29th. In order to have the book in time we have a deadline of April 26th. If we do not raise the funds to do a full print order I would like to at least be able to print one book and continue accepting donations and fundraising to get the rest of our books completed and ordered. After the book is funded and printed I will do book readings at events, schools, book stores, libraries, hospitals, children's parties, aquariums, and festivals.
I am so thrilled to finally be able to share my dream with others to enjoy! No matter if you are age 3 or 300 we ALL could use some extra magic from time to time!
