This page is set up for donors to financially assist Monisha in her efforts to take a mission trip to Zimbabwe which includes running in the Victoria Falls Marathon.
As a member of Team World Vision, Monisha runs marathons to raise funds for children and their families to have access to clean water, education, food, clothing and other basic necessities. She was recently asked to join a team of ten runners that will visit mission work sites in Zambia and also participate in the Victoria Falls Marathon that runs through the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The trip dates are August 23- 31, 2012. The total cost of the trip is $3,000, which includes, a $500 trip deposit, airfare, immunizations, and lodging accommodations while abroad.
Every dollar puts Monisha one step closer to reaching her fundraising goal and sharing God's love during the 2012 Team World Vision Mission Trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe.
About Monisha: A Dallas, TX native, Monisha serves as a running coach to residents in Southern Dallas Communities. In addition to coaching, she volunteers at a homeless women's ministry and charter school for truant students. She is a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, where she serves in the mission and youth ministries.
