My Mom's Cremation And Headstone

Donation protected
My Mom, Lori, 63, has been in an ongoing battle against Emphysema, COPD, and lung cancer which put early alzheimers into the mix as well... Her condition was steadily declining and was given 6 months about 3 months ago.. She was on Hospice living with my sister for constant care between her, the hospice nurses and aids. My mother was getting severely anxious and would constantly do things that would make her suffer and hurt way more.. She just wouldn't listen because her confusion was getting so bad.. Hospice pretty much made my sister put her into respite (a 5-day break from each other) in a nursing home. My sister thought they were going to bring an ambulance because she told them she can't walk and they have steps. Well, what showed up was one woman in a van. No gurney, no wheelchair, NOTHING.... She insisted on putting her in her wheelchair and taking her down the steps that way. My sister told her not to, but she insisted she could and it was her job.. Well this resulted in the heavyset woman not only dropping my mother, but she herself fell LANDING ON MY MOTHER'S CHEST...... She then acted like it was nothing and she was fine, meanwhile she had a huge bruise, my sister was hurt, and my Mom was suffocating... She said "oh there's no need to write an incident report." (Yes a lawyer is now involved...) She then continued to put her in the vehicle, while my Mom is still suffocating cuz they didn't even bring oxygen, and took her not to the hospital, but to the nursing home... my Mom was in horrible pain, moreso than normally, confused as hell, and in a place she didn't wanna be in.. within the next couple days my sister had them do xrays and they said they saw nothing.. The next day she got a call from Hospice saying they went to go see her.. They found her hunched over in her wheelchair, down the hallway by the nurse's station, completely unresponsive... She stayed that way for at least a day.. They (nursing home..not hospice..) discontinued a lot of her meds, including BP meds, because they couldn't even open her mouth.. My sister was there and she suddenly snapped out of it (only a little). Just enough for her to tell my sister she had to pee, and luckily for me to be able to talk to her over the phone... Well, that was the last time I ever spoke to her... After that, she ended up completely unconscious.. Her BP through the roof.. They finally took her back to my sister's.. She was still unconscious, but would fight and try to climb out of her bed.. She couldn't be left alone for a second.. Hospice agreed it was time for her to go back to the hospital... she was suffering horribly, doing the same, but she just wasn't there.. it was clear this was the end.. My sister told me it's time and my fiance hopped in the car for the 16+ hour drive.. A couple hours later, my sister called and said she was finally calmed down and seemed comfortable.. I was relieved..Then last night, about 5 or so hours later I got the call I had been fearing.... I was too late.... I didn't make it in time.... None of of have enough money for my Mom's cremation and headstone.. She didn't want a ceremony so we are honoring that.. I just at least wanna try and do a good cremation and get her a nice headstone, hopefully putting it by her mother... Please... if you can donate.. even a little.. it will help and we will be so grateful.. I know she would be... She is the most amazing woman I've ever know and an incredible mother.. she deserves a good farewell.... I don't know how much everything is going to be, but I know cremation and headstone will be at LEAST $2500-3000, and no idea how much a plot in the cemetery is, so the amount may change... Any help is deeply appreciated.... Thank you for taking the time to read this...
