Middletown High School Volleyball

Volleyball in Middletown (VIM) is a community-based parent organization whose goal is to bring both girls and boys volleyball to Middletown High School North and South as a Varsity sport.  VIM is a New Jersey Non-profit organization incorporated with by the state of New Jersey.  It was founded in response to the great outpouring of interest from students in Middletown high schools, as we are one of the few districts that do not offer an organized school sponsored volleyball team in our area.
Our goal is to raise the needed funds through donations and fundraising to bring the support on board with the Board of Education support during the current school year.

During the 2018-2019 school year, we had very successful Girls and Boys Volleyball seasons, with over 100 players from both high schools. The seasons (Fall for Girls and Spring for Boys) consisted of skills clinics and training and more than 10 inter-district games per team.

Throughout this year,  all equipment, brand new net systems, and referee stands  have been purchased by VIM and donated to Middletown School District. In addition,  over a third of the required funds have been raised.

Our immediate goal now is to raise $47,000  by 5/8/2019, in time for the BOE vote to approve High School Volleyball for the 2019-2020 District Budget.

We are counting on the community's support for Middletown students.  Having a school volleyball program will allow more students to become active in athletics, as well as provide another avenue for possible scholarships for college.
