Mike Leucks Care fund

The family and friends of people with ALS are among the most courageous people in the world. They help their loved ones face each day with hope. Each person who is battling ALS has a unique story to share that will inspire others not to give up and to live life to the fullest. This absolutely describes our own Mike Leuck, lovingly known by all of us as Cheddar who is couragiously battling ALS. This fund is to help off set the rising costs for the excellent caretaking and support that Cheddar continues to receive. We could all take a page from the courage and determination that he continues to show as he faces this disease head on. He simply will not waver. To know him is to love him!
As time goes on Mike will need more and more care.  I need help to insure that he is able to make the most of his time.  The fund will go toward extra help, so that he is able get out of bed and sit in a chair.  It means a lot to be able to communicate with the outside world and if he can get in his chair he will be able to use his foot mouse to communicate, his speach is nearly gone, and possibly read a book. 
We are thankful for all the help we recieve and whatever isn't used for Mikes care will be donated to the Les Turner ALS foundation.
