Melvindale Little League Softball

The Melvindale Little League Senior Softball team (ages13-17) are District 5 Champions and are headed to the Michigan State Playoffs. The last time the Sr. Girls did this was 1990. It's going to be a long and expensive ride to Calumet Twp. in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. As most of you know Youth sports programs are costly and run on a shoe string budget. The League and the parents are doing their part but it's still very expensive. So asking for help is absolutely necessary. Transportation cost alone for the 4 day 12 hour (one way) trip is estimated at $1100.00 That doesn’t include lodging and food for the girls. Every little bit will help. This is a once in a lifetime for the girls. SO PLEASE I'm begging you, donate what you can and help us send these girls to the State Playoffs and have a shot at winning it all.
