Meghan's Road to Recovery

Our dear friend Meghan Madden, age 20 from Wantagh, NY needs everyones love and support to guide her down her road to recovery. On Saturday March 7th, Meghan was visiting friends in SUNY Binghamton when  unfortunately a vechile veered off the road. The driver of the vehicle who was under the influence changed Meghan's life  in a matter of seconds. As a result, Meghan had to have one of her legs surgically removed from the knee down. For those of you who personally know Meghan, know that she has a personality that is larger than life.  Her contagious smile and positive energy is one that affects a room filled with strangers. Meghan always looks on the brightside of every given situation and we know she will embrace the new life that God has planned for her. We are creating this fundraiser in efforts to support Meghan's medical treatments that she will undergo in order to get her back to the giggly Meghan that we all love. Many people have reached out asking what they can do to help. Every donation matters and Meghan appreciates the love and support everyone is giving her. We have faith in our friend, she has a bright future ahead of her and she will overcome this challenge in life from all the love and optimism. Also, raising awareness about driving under the influence is extremely important at this time. Please never get behind the wheel of a vehicle if you are under the influence of any alcohol or drugs. You do not realize how fast your life can change and or the life of an innocent victim. Please spread the word!
