MEGAN'S FIRE FUND

Donation protected
Megan Crist, Kevin Pugh, and baby Schuyler lost everything (and I do mean everything) they own in a fire at their Hyde Park apartment complex in Cary, NC at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 ( WRAL News Video of Fire ).
The fire department said everything is gone. The Red Cross gave them $500 to stay in a motel. Megan didn't even have shoes, as she ran out with Schuyler barefooted. She ran back and rescued her dog, Chloe, but the fire department then made her get out. Her mom and dad, Robin and Fred Crist from Earlysville, VA, rushed down a few hours later to help. Megan and her family are thankful to be alive,  and grateful there were no injuries and that the 20 residents were able to be rescued.

Megan, Kevin, and almost-2-year-old Schuyler desperately need money immediately for shelter, food, clothing, and for replacement of essential daily necessities to sustain them over the coming weeks.  Any amount of money you can donate is so very appreciated, and Megan will have immediate access to the funds. This campaign does not have to "meet the goal to get the $$." She can use your donation as needed, regardless of how much we raise. Thank you again for your generousity!
