About The Meat Man
The Meat Man is a psychological horror film that’s entirely devoid of dialogue. It follows The Man, an unnamed character representative of everyone society looks over. He gets a job at a meat processing facility after battling with severe mental illness in order to redeem himself and win back the love of his wife, but finds himself coming face to face with everything he’s fought so hard to overcome.
About the Director / Writer
I’m Sebastian Columbine, a film school graduate who’s hoping to make my debut as a writer and director. Growing up I’ve obsessed over the horror genre and my dream is to become a respected horror filmmaker. I’ve been working hard and conceptualizing this project for multiple years, this is my passion project and something I want to make the very best. I would be forever grateful to anyone who donates and make my dream come true, however big or small that donation may be.
Where Your Donations Will Be Going
Equipment: Camera and equipment will primarily be acquired from rental houses, which can get pretty expensive, especially with the added cost of insurance.
Set Design and Location: With locations, permits and insurance, it all adds up very quickly and the story’s location and set design is extremely important to its success.
Food and Safety: We need to feed our crew lots of delicious and healthy foods to keep everyone happy, healthy and productive! We also need to make sure we have every possible form of safety available incase of any emergencies, fire extinguishers, first aid kids, on set medics, etc.
Post Production: Color correction, transcoding and many other technical, confusing words are absolutely necessary for completing the film, gee making a movie is expensive!
