McFarland Animal Shelter Cool Down!

Donation protected
The McFarland Animal Shelter (McFarland, CA) is a small, rural shelter with 24 kennels that are always full. The shelter is an open air facility with a metal roof. In the summer the temperature routinly exceeds 100 degrees. On the day this Fundraiser was started (July 29th, 2015) the temperature at eleven o'clock in the morning was 91 degrees and the high expected to reach 107. The temperature at the shelter reached 112.

Big Fogg ‌headquartered in Temecula, California was contacted to design and install a misting system that will spray a fine mist around the perimeter of the shelter cooling the space within by as much as 20 - 30 degrees. This is the same type of misting system Big Fogg builds for use on restaurant patios, sporting events, outdoor venues.

PLEASE consider assisting this worthwhile cause in providing relief to the dogs residing at the McFarland Animal Shelter.

100% of your donation will go to the misting system.

Administrative costs of the fund raiser have been covered.
