Check out a video recap of the RFK Mural Festival 2016
Los Angeles, CA – Branded Arts, and L.A. Unified are proud to announce The Maya Angelou Mural Festival at Dr. Maya Angelou Community High School on May 13-18, 2019, the second iteration of the mural festival series. MAMF will serve as a long-lasting visual representation of what Branded Arts' work with L.A. Unified means to the community. This project was born out of a collaboration with LAUSD Local District Central staff under the guidance of Superintendent Roberto Antonio Martinez.
Dr. Maya Angelou Community High School's vision is to provide students with the habits to utilize their academic and social foundation in the Arts, Technology and Multimedia to become transformative leaders and learners in their own lives and communities.
We're raising funds for the complete production and documentation of MAMF 2019. These expenses include, but are not limited to exterior / interior paint, anti-graffiti protective coating, supplies and materials, electronic lift rentals, security, gallery installation, PR and marketing, production staffing, artist fees, and video / photo content.
Anything helps, and we can't wait to invite you to the unveiling!
