“Anything Can Happen if You Let it.” That’s a lyric from the upcoming Sunset High School Theatre Department production of Mary Poppins. Our students are very excited to be able to have the rights to produce this musical and we have a cast and crew of over 100 students working hard to bring the magic of Mary Poppins to life. Here are just a few of them:
One of the most exciting pieces of this production is the opportunity to see some characters fly. This may be a once in a lifetime moment for students in the cast, and we know it will thrill our audience. In order to accomplish this feat, the group must hire a company to train them to operate rental equipment, set up, and oversee throughout the rehearsals and performances.
We are thrilled that Pacific Office Automation and Behind the Smile - Dentistry for Children are partial sponsors for the flying rig, but there is much more that needs to happen to help Mary Poppins fly!
This production requires royalties, costumes, make-up and special effects to bring this story to life. Just $5 will help Sunset High School Theatre Department make necessary renovations and Help Mary Fly!
