Mara - Short Film

We are a group of talented and driven film students at Chapman University who are determined to make a psychological thriller.

This chilling tale tells the story of Nathan, a grieving father whose wife left him after the death of their daughter, Mara.  While on his first date since this tragedy, he suffers from hallucinations of his deceased daughter.  Now, Nathan must keep his date in the dark about his visions before Mara can drive her away.

In order for us to complete this film to the best of our abilities, we need funds to cover a variety of important costs including equipment, locations, transportation, props, wardrobe, and the safety and wellbeing of our crew!

Our goal is to raise $1,500 by November 4th—one week before shooting starts—to ensure that our budget is properly accomodated.

Each and every member of our crew is highly dedicated to this project and to ensuring that is completed in an efficient and creative manner.  We need your help to ensure that we have the resources to make our chilling vision come to life!
